Moorefield Girls High School is a comprehensive, culturally diverse school incorporating a support unit. It is a school where students love to come every day and are excited about their learning; where staff, students and parents work together to engage, challenge and support all students to dream about the possibilities that lay ahead of them. At Moorefield, every girl is important and every school day makes a difference.
Our core values of mutual respect and high expectations are evident in everything we do. Our girls are inspired through exciting and innovative teaching and learning experiences to do their very best. With a sustained emphasis on learning and continued celebrations of success, Moorefield girls achieve strong HSC results; have access to varied curriculum paths and links with TAFE and Universities.
The school's focus is to inspire young women to achieve their best through quality teaching, a diverse curriculum and innovative programs that provide experiences to engage and challenge students, and by providing a supportive learning environment. A strong academic focus, combined with supportive welfare programs enables our girls to develop into confident young women.
Research shows that girls’ schools continually achieve strong academic results, regularly produce real leaders and positive role models and encourage young women to explore careers in all areas because they are free to participate in class discussions without constraints and enjoy every opportunity to learn in an atmosphere of encouragement and self-belief.
